New South Wales Pattern Flyers

Just an average group of flyers with an obsession for precision aerobatics.

 Directions to Fletchers Lane (SMFC)

The Shoalhaven Model Flying Club is the host club, they have two flying fields (how cool is that) and  we are meeting at the "FLETCHER'S LANE" field not the Nowra Race track field.

Fletcher's Lane is on the northern side of Bomaderry (a northern suburb of Nowra) and the field is located at the end of this road. Have a good look at your maps and Google Earth to determine the exact location.

There is a railway crossing just before the entry to the flying field. Be very careful here as this is an uncontrolled rail crossing.

There is no shelter there apart from portable gazebos supplied by the club and you will have to bring a few bits of your own gear such as folding chairs etc. The club will have food and drinks available for purchase on both days. On Saturday lunch will be available and on Sunday breakfast and lunch will be available.

All electrically propelled models will have to be fitted with an external circuit breaking device which can be operated from outside the plane without removal of canopies and be able to demonstrate that the transmitter "failsafe" features are set to "motor stopped" positions.

Be organized to avoid disappointment!

Please send in you entries to the NSW Pattern Flyers web site before the close of date.

We look forward to seeing you all there for an 8.30 pilots briefing.
